Scazlab Human-Robot Interaction

Research in Scazlab involved designing a robot head used for interaction with children with hearing problems, video analysis of people's response to robot's back-channeling social behaviors in social settings, and investigating how people's perception towards online chat changes depending on whether they are talking to a chatbot or not (done with the help of advisor Prof. Maria Gendron of Affective Science and Culture Lab).
