Scazlab Human-Robot Interaction
Research in Scazlab focused on three main parts. The first involved designing a robot head used for interaction with children with hearing problems working under Kate Tsui. The second involved helping analyze and tweak a robot's social behavior in back-channeling in social settings under Sarah Sebo. The third involved studying the effects of chatbot's behavior on human-computer interactions under Rebecca Ramnauth and advisor Maria Gendron of Affective Science and Culture Lab.
